Advanced Studies

Inner Dance Yoga Studio offers a comprehensive program for deepening your yoga practice. Our advanced studies opportunities are divided into two programs, the Expanded Studies Program and Teacher Training.

Expanded Studies
The Expanded Studies Program is open to anyone interested in learning more about yoga philosophy, breath-work (pranayama), meditation, asana and anatomy. Courses are “mix and match” so you can customize your program and experience. This is designed for those interested in deepening their personal study and practice of yoga. The list of Expanded Studies Courses will be available soon.

Teacher Training
Inner Dance Yoga Studio Teacher Training is an 11-month program that interweaves two currents of training: 1) building a foundation of deep understanding of yoga practice and 2) cultivating the skills of teaching. Expanded Studies Courses concentrate on deepening your experience and understanding of asana, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and history. Teacher Training Courses explore topics such as teaching asana, sequencing, observation, demonstration, adjustment, and developing your own voice. Our program is registered with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level of certification. Completion of all requirements qualifies graduates to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), recognized on a national level.
